CrossFit Fundamentals included
Compulsory 2 hour detailed personal training session introducing the 9 fundamental movements of CrossFit in order to be safe in the group class environment.

3 CrossFit Classes per week for 4 weeks included
After completion of CrossFit Fundamentals, you go straight into CrossFit Classes known as WOD (Workout Of the Day)
Attendance booking through the online system is required.
CrossFit BURY MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP
At the end of your Newcomer Package, or for experienced CrossFiter (email from previous CF Affiliate Coach required)
- Monthly memberships are rolling contract for a minimum of 3 months
- One month cancellation notice period from the day of renewal
CROSSFIT PRIVATE COACHING
Some things are beyond the scope of a class. Injuries, specific weaknesses and long-term skills progressions are part of it. Or maybe you are a mother/father who want to train with your daughter/son!
With very limited availability, you can still book 1 hour or 30 minutes private coaching session with our coach outside of the group timetable classes.

"I've been going to CrossFit Bury since it opened and I love it. As soon as I walked in the door both Frenchi and Aimée were nothing but friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease right away. I find the coaching from Frenchi of a very high quality, he takes time, not just in the fundamentals, to make sure you have the basics down before moving on to more complex movements or lifting heavier. In every session there is the choice to scale down the workout if you cannot do the movements.
The other members are supportive in helping you get to the end of the workout and in other case you will encourage the others and get them to the end. It's a community at the end of the day!

"I've been coming to CrossFit Bury since February 2017 and have lost 12% body fat and over a stone in weight without any changes to my diet going from a small 14 to an 8/10. I love that much of the training is weight based and am seeing dramatic changes in my body shape. I have visible tone in my arms, back and shoulders and even have some abs peeking through.
The sessions are varied and no two days are ever the same so it never gets boring. I get a real thrill from gaining strength and seeing the weight I can lift increasing steadily. It's amazing what an intense cardio workout you get from the daily WOD and it's a real sense of achievement when you complete it. The class sizes are small and friendly so it's easy to ask for assistance and plenty of time is spent on technique.

I decided to join CrossFit Bury to keep my fitness levels up outside of hockey season as I was struggling to find motivation and come up with workouts at my standard gym. I've always considered myself one of the less fit players on the hockey team however following a recent fitness test in prep for preseason I finished TOP 3 in all areas (agility, sprints and jump- max force/ max power output), with my 0-10 meter sprint and jump/ max force & power achieving within the bracket of the UK National hockey team data. I was amazed! The comments from our fitness coach were 'you have no particular area of weakness, keep doing what you're doing'! - all I'm doing is CrossFit!
Since starting my CrossFit journey 3 months ago my weight has stayed with a lb or 2 which was really frustrating at first especially as I got 'happy fat' after getting married last August. However when I compared photos I took of myself in March to photos taken at the beginning of June my body shape has completely changed, I look slimmer, am more toned, have smoother curves, my bums had a lift and I'm getting definition.
At CrossFit Bury the workouts are set so you don't have to think, the group is small so you get 121 time with the coach, the atmosphere is great, the camaraderie gets you through every workout and the feeling of achievement keeps you going back.
I'd recommend becoming part of the CrossFit Bury team to anyone at any level of fitness- there is no judgement- only motivation, everyone is at different levels and you're only competing against yourself.
"I joined CrossFit Bury after my free taster session. The first session was hard but so enjoyable. I have joined a gym and been to classes in the past but have always given up after a few weeks because I felt like I was going it alone. It's the total opposite at CrossFit Bury. I started at crossfit Bury in June. Frenchi is very good at teaching you the different types of lifts.He is great at pushing you to your limits.I feel like my strength is improving already and my confidence is growing too.The people are amazing too, so friendly and welcoming.I started with 1/2 sessions a week but have now committed to 3 days a week. If you are looking for something to challenge you and push you to your limit then definitely try Crossfit Bury.
"After my first month at Bury CrossFit I thought it was time for a fresh review. The level of detail and programming of each session is second to none. The focus on technique, correct range of motion and that balance of strength and fitness leaves you walking away with a renewed sense of energy. So glad i found this little box that has the biggest heart. I needed a box to go to while i was home for a few weeks. Crossfit Bury welcomed me in and i enjoyed every minute (Even the push presses and overhead squats). �

Amazing box full of great people who support and encourage you every step of the way. The coaching standard is first class Frenchi knows his stuff and is constantly monitoring you to ensure you keep good form and use correct technique. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 8 meaning it’s more like personal training but without the cost. I’ve got to say after just over a year at Crossfit Bury I’m the fittest and strongest I’ve ever been and I’m loving how my body looks.
I joined CrossFit Bury in April this year after many failed attempts at going to gyms as you feel very much on your own and no real motivation. However since joining CrossFit Bury I have never felt more welcome , motivated and determined, with the added bonus of being made to feel like part of this fab group of people. I am by no means anywhere near peak fitness (hence trying to get fit) but in the couple of months I have been going here, the improvements I have seen in myself have been fab. The coaching by Frenchie is amazing, as he is able to understand the level you are at and work with you to scale the workout to your level, but at the same time give you the encouragement to push yourself to the next level. So as crazy as it may seem that give everything you have in the sessions till you can’t give any more , minutes later I am then already looking forward to the next session.
